Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create a binary input module used in protection relays to indicate status or detect alarm conditions to protect grid assets. Whether designing with group or channel isolated architectures, our system designs support one to 32 channels to help you improve isolation reliability.

Design requirements

Binary input module designs often require:

  • Reliable isolation to enable longer lifespan.
  • Multiple AC and DC input ranges.
  • Integration to support highly dense channel counts.
