Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs help you create wireless remote control key fobs that arm building and residential security systems with the push of a button. These smart key fobs also control lights, garage doors and serve as a panic buttons.

Design requirements

Key fob or panic button designs often require:

  • Small footprint solutions to enable small solution form factor.
  • Ten-year battery life from a single coin cell battery.
  • Communication with 2.4-GHz and Sub-1-GHz networks.
  • Geofencing solutions for automatic arming/disarming of home security systems.
